From the 18th-20th of April we piloted the Dressed in Confidence: Tupu Aotearoa programme in partnership with the Ministry for Pacific Peoples Tupu Aotearoa programme and provider Puatala.
It was a packed 3 day programme that concluded with a formal graduation ceremony that saw our amazing participants being acknowledged and celebrated by our partners, their family and friends. From learning practical skills for employment readiness to selecting an entire interview outfit from our Walk in Wardrobe to getting hair and makeup done by the talented students from Samala Robinson Academy.
The participants strutted the runway in their new business attire they had selected and then received their certificates from Dressed in Confidence programme founder Nora Swann and Toleafoa Ray Tuala – Regional Director Northern – Ministry for Pacific Peoples. The participants were also spoilt with a congratulatory video from the Hon Minister Barbara Edmonds, Minister for Pacific Peoples who was overseas on work commitments.
Here’s a look at some of the fun moments of our 3 day workshop!
